I figured what better way to kick off my blog than to first post about my current dilemma: I can’t choose a pair of heels because I L O V E T H E M A L L !!!! In any event, I’ve picked out 10 of my favorites for y’all to ogle over with me.
1. Badgley Mischka ‘Rouge’ Pointy Toe Pump
I swore to myself that I wouldn’t be buying Badgley Mischka’s solely because I’m trying to cut costs. But for $255 + free shipping at Nordstrom, I must say, I was surprised. Tempting, tempting.
2. Kate Spate Sala Pump
I love all things Kate Spade. Between the bow and the glittered heel, this one got me. Unfortunately, the bow is just too much for my dress. But if you’re a Kate Spade-r like me, check em out at Zappos.
3. Betsey Johnson ‘Bella Pump’
I think these are a bit too over the top for me. I love the glitter but I just can’t see myself walking down the aisle with these babies on my feet. Although I don’t think I’d be able to pull these off, I love them and the subtle blue too. Check ’em out at DSW.
4. Calvin Klein ‘Gayle Pumps’
What I love about these shoes are their simplicity. Classic white seems beautiful to me. And the heel is just right. I think I might actually be able to keep these babies on all night! Better yet, Dillards has them for only $109!
5. Vince Camuto ‘Ophelia’ Pointy Toe Pump
These are another pair that I totally adore, but am not 100% sure I could pull off. But at a modest $160, these are extremely tempting.
6. Blue By Betsey Johnson Crystal Embellished Laser-Cut Pointed Toe Pumps
Ooooh, I love these. The detail throughout the shoe just makes this for me. Again, I’m falling in love with the subtle blue detail on the underside. David’s Bridal has them for a steal right now at under $100.
7. Christian Louboutin ‘Brodiriza’
Hahahahahah why? My heart breaks for these. Why are they so expensive? I don’t even have words for how much I love them. They’re really a work of art. I’ll save us all the heartbreak and won’t even mention the price.
8. Touch Ups ‘Adriana’ Dress Pump
I would be remiss in my duties if I did not include a pair of Touch Ups on here. Up until I was a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding, I had never heard of these shoes. Let me tell you, they are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever worn in my life. I didn’t purchase this pair, but I thought they were at least worth noting. These start at just under $70 on Amazon.
9. Badgley Mischka Royal Crystal-Embellished Satin Pumps
These are the one. These are the one, for me at least. I love the twisted embellishment. I am ready to pull the trigger on these, but I do have two concerns: (1) the open toe… not sure if I want that for November; and (2) holy crap they are tall. I’m so close to making the purchase, but I just don’t know…
10. Keds for Kate Spade Glitter Sneakers
What kind of wedding shoe post would this be without a pair of Kate Spade Keds? These are all the rage, and have been a bride favorite for reception dancing. May or may not be getting these for my own! Keds has them for $85, but be on the lookout for sales – they seem to pop up every month or so.
